CALL for Submissions: 100 Thousand Poets for Change: 10 years of evolution
Hello Los Angeles Poet Society,
I am sharing this correspondence from 1oo Thousand Poets for Change Founders, Terri Carrion and Michael Rothenberg.
Good luck and write on!
DEADLINE EXTENSION: FEBRUARY 15, 2021 100 THOUSAND POETS FOR CHANGE: 10 years of evolution (2011-2021) VOL 1: The Memoir CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
Dear 100 Thousand Poets for Change Organizers and Participants:
A quick letter to let you all know that we have extended the deadline for receipt of submissions for the 100 Thousand Poets for Change: 10 Years of Evolution (2011-2021) Vol 1: The Memoir to February 15, 2021.
We do realize that these are difficult times for many, Covid 19 has turned our lives upside down, and we want to give you all an opportunity to make your contribution without too much additional pressure.
Remember, we are looking for essays about your experience of the 100TPC movement. We are not looking for poems or a strict recap of your events. We want to know how 100TPC has impacted your personal life, your community and poetry.
Please follow this link to the CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS pdf at the 100TPC website. We have offered the pdf in English and Spanish. This pdf will provide a detailed description of what we are looking for in submissions.
Please remember to send your submissions and/or any questions to: 10yr100tpcbook@gmail.com
In the Email’s Subject Matter please write your essay’s theme (see the CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS for description of themes).
We know this will be a great book. We look forward to hearing from you!
We wish you a safe New Year and look forward to your contributions by February 15, 2021.
Sincere best,
Michael Rothenberg
