RAZA on the Spot - a Publishing on the Spot initiative to capture more social justice voices.

March 29, 2025, LA Poet Society and LA Poet Society Press joined the annual Association of Raza Educators Conference at Mission College.

Our LA Poet Society Press Coordinator, Sebastian Camarena, was in attendance with LAPS Press Founder and Publisher, Jessica M. Wilson. They held space for the community of Raza, offering Publishing on the Spot!

Check out all the new Writers and Poets who explored what being Raza meant to them, and how it impacts them. Welcome all the new contributors to the LAPS Press Familix!

Support our publishing efforts to share more social justice voices and creative works from Queer Trans Black Indigenous People of Color.

We are fundraising to reprint our current selection of books and support the printing of new works including our anthology for murdered and missing indigenous relatives, (MMIR) Coatl Tecpatl: No More Stolen Relatives.

We also have an LA nostalgia anthology, our literary journal, and fellow LA authors, we want to support and who's work we believe in.

We appreciate any support you can offer by scanning the QR code of your choice.
